House in Patrick's Cove

An old abandoned house stands just below the hill in Patrick's Cove. I wonder what memories were created here.

I love old houses. Where is Patrick's Cove?

Patrick's Cove is located on the road to St. Brides - the Irish Loop.

I can tell you that Mr. Paky (Patrick) McGrath and Mrs. Fan his wife used to like watching us play softball in the field below the house. It was "great company" for them they used to say.

I believe you are mistaken with the community named here. This house is located in Ship Cove, not PC.

You're probably right, but close enough. Would prefer your web name rather than anonymous. Unable to tell if you commented in past.

Hello Tudorw. My name is Jake and I live near Seattle Washington USA. One of my sisters sent me a photo of my grandfather (who I never got to meet) in 1942. He was a Police Officer in Patricks's Cove, where my mom grew up (She passed away a couple of years ago.) Her name was Carmel McGrath and had a sister named Jean. My grandfathers name was Michae McGrath (on the picture "Michae" does not have the "l", I'm not sure which is the proper spelling. My email address is copout1340@yahoo.com
