Making Fish

This archival photograph is symbolic of the early Newfoundland cod fishery. I made this image from a glass slide in my collection. These fishermen appear to be washing the excess salt from the cod in preparation for curing in the sun. The photo dates to the early 1900's.

Wow! That is an amazing photo. Did you add the slight coloring to the people are parts of the foreground?

Would love to see more like that.

Colors were part of this archival glass slide. I just copied it as is. Glad you liked it. I will try to to add others like this from time to time.
