Catch of the Day
Two fishermen offloading their catch in the mists of the Battery. This is a scene that is rarely seen today since the demise of the cod fishery.
I have researched a little about the loss of the cod fishing industry in Newfoundland, after reading your mentions of it several times in the blog. I know that I cannot imagine the extent to which it has changed the lives of many citizens of Newfoundland.
